Recent reports suggest LG’s yet-to-be announced smartphone LG G4 will add a number of upgrades over its predecessor the LG G3.
TechManiacs reports that as per leaked specifications the LG G4 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor with at least 3GB of RAM. The report suggests that the handset will feature a 5.3-inch Quad-HD display, as compared to the current LG G3 which sports a 5.5-inch AH-IPS LCD QHD (1440×2560 pixel) display with a pixel density of 538ppi.
Citing evidence from a leaked Android 5.0 Lollipop dump file, which displays system information about the device it is installed on, the report claims that the handset will pack a 16-megapixel rear-facing shooter, boasting resolution of 5312 x 2988 pixels and a wide 16:9 ratio sensor. That’s a significant upgrade to the 13-megapixel camera on the LG G3.
Furthermore, rumors are that LG may opt to launch its new G4 smartphone with a stylus, to compete with handsets like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
It is expected that LG might unveil the spanking new G4 smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Spain this March. We will continue to update you with more information on the new LG G4 smartphone.
