Microsoft has rolled out Office Sway for iPhone in more countries around the world.
“Going big with Sway for iPhone in lots of English-speaking markets is an exciting step. With more users and more usage, you’ll see us continue to make regular improvements to Sway’s mobile experience. And we’ll keep all those learnings in mind while we continue to work on native Sway apps for Windows Phone and Android devices. We’re moving quickly with Sway and we’re glad to have you with us on the journey,” a statement from the Sway team on the Office blogs site reads.
Sway, first previewed in October last year, is a lightweight presentation app that can be accessed through the web using Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari or through a stand-alone app on iPhone.
Dubbed as a Prezi competitor, Sway lets users drag and drop photos, videos, and other files from a variety of sources including computer, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter or cloud storage. The presentations are stored on the web, so users can access them from anywhere in case they forgot to carry their device with them.
Sway was initially launched in New Zealand in November and further in Australia in December.
Microsoft has now expanded the content presentation app’s availability to a slew of English-speaking markets, including India, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Canada, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Federated States of Micronesia, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Swaziland, United Republic Of Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, and the British Virgin Islands.
