A group of armed robbers attacked a queue of gamers who were camping outside a GameStop store in Texas waiting for the midnight launch of Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
According to a report coming from ABC, three masked men wearing hoodies entered the Texas store and held everyone at gunpoint at around 9.30pm Monday, local time.
The criminals used a taser on one of the customers and then robbed everyone’s money and phones, and took cash out the store’s cash register as well.
Although a store clerk was successful in placing a tracking device in the bag along with the cash, but it appeared that the same was disposed off the window of the getaway car on the FM 1960 highway.
The tasered customer was not taken to hospital and thankfully no one else was hurt during the robbery.
Deputies are now searching for the three armed robbers.
