Samsung has reportedly delayed the UK launch of its new flagship phablet dubbed ‘the Galaxy Note 4’. The launch, which was earlier scheduled for October 10, has now been pushed to October 17 alongside the US Galaxy Note 4 release.
Samsung announced the delay on its UK Twitter account stating “Due to the amazing interest and demand for the Galaxy Note 4, the device will now go on sale in the UK from the 17th October.”
Galaxy Note 4 has already been available for pre-booking in UK since September 19 via various major smartphone e-retailers and Samsung stores across the country.
Powered by a 2.7Ghz octa-core processor, Samsung’s upcoming flagship phablet features a massive 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED at 571ppi, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage expandable up to 64GB and a 3,220mAh battery, operating on Android Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
The phablet will come equipped with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera featuring a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer that counter-balances camera shake and automatically extends exposure time in dark settings and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9 which offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle best for taking selfies.
The Note 4 features S-pen stylus which allows users to draw and write on the screen and perform various tasks simultaneously.
A SIM-free variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs £575 in the UK, while the same is also available with a contract of £38 a month.
