If you have been using Dropbox for a while, you know the photos you take on your tablets and smartphones go directly into your Dropbox. This feature was not applicable for the screenshots you take on your computer though.
Starting today, Dropbox will automatically detect and save all the screenshots you take on your computer. In addition to that, Dropbox will also create a unique link to all your screenshots and copy them to the clipboard allowing an instant sharing of the photos.
Whether you want to save your website screenshots, your favorite dog videos or your video calls with your friends, you can do it all with Dropbox. This automatic screenshot uploading feature will prove beneficial to cloud storage users including journalists, app developers, designers, twitter users and collaborative teams.
The cloud storage service has also come up with an additional automatic iPhoto imports feature. This feature allows users to upload the entire iPhoto library to Dropbox in just one go.
“It takes a lot to keep all your photos in one place making them absolutely handy to share. The small improvements made by Dropbox will surely help you a lot in your task. Now you just need to focus on your photos and screenshots and Dropbox will do the rest for you”, concludes Dropbox in its blog post.
