Google Chromecast was launched exactly 1 year ago yesterday and during this one year the streaming dongle has powered over 400 million casts and to celebrate the occasion, the search engine giant is offering 90-day free access to Google Play Music All Access.
Available for $35 in the US and £30 in the UK, Chromecast has already hit shelves of over 30,000 stores in 20 countries. Google has claimed that its streaming dongle has sold millions of units and now supports quite a few apps now as compared to what it used to during launch time.
According to Google more than 6,000 developers are actively developing Chromecast apps across the globe.
The 90-day Google Play Music All Access offer is available to users in the UK and US, but there are a few conditions attached.
First and foremost, you need to own the Chromecast dongle. Next, if you already are subscribed to the service, you won’t be eligible for the free 90 days offer.
Further, if you have already availed free trial of the service, you won’t be eligible for the free 90-day service. So, all in all you need to buy a new dongle to avail the new offer.
