Volkswagen has revealed the price of its new Scirocco which made its first public debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year in March. This new Scirocco has revised styling and advanced engine with its prices starting from £20,455.
Volkswagen kept the outside looks same as its predecessor but has modernised its new head and tail lights, as well as new bumper styling. Scirocco has LED tail lights and has redesigned the rear bumper.
The top range is blessed with the bespoke bumpers and 19-inch ‘Cadiz’ alloy wheels however the rest of the range are also equipped with improved alloy designs.
Company has equipped six turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with new Euro 6 standard. The Scirocco R features Blue Motion technology with start-stop as standard as a result all models will return up to 68.9mpg.
The petrol engine models contains 123bhp 1.4-liter petrol, a new 177bhp 2.0-litre unit, a 217bhp 2.0-litre engine and, and the Scirocco R, a 276bhp 2.0-litre unit.
The diesel range consists of two engines, both 2.0-litre units with either 148bhp or 181bhp. All engines have 1.4-liter petrol come with a choice of six-speed manual and DSG gearboxes.
Company offers four trim levels : Scirocco, GT, R-Line and R, with all models equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, DAB radio, a six-disc CD changer, SD card reader, iPod, USB, Bluetooth and aux-in technology as standard.
The standard feature-set also includes automatic headlights and wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, height-adjustable sports seats and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel.
Prices for the entry-level Scirocco start from £20,455, while the GT costs from £22,305. Moving up the range, the R-Line is priced from £27,840; while the range-topping Scirocco R will set you back £32,295 for the manual and £33,795 for the DSG.
