Rebellion continues to hold onto first position of UK charts with its Sniper Elite 3 despite a 32 percent decline in sales largely because of absence of a noteworthy title for any of the platforms.
The second spot was covered by Watch Dogs and this is the third consecutive number two for the title from Ubisoft despite 20 percent decline in sales week-over-week. FIFA 14 managed to leapfrog Titanfall and Wolfenstein: The New Order to finish at third sport with a 15 percent increase in sales.
The jump for FIFA 14 is largely because of discounts being offered for the title on old-generation consoles. The same trend was shown by 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, which managed to garner eighth position with 5 percent increase in sales as compared to last week.
Call Of Duty: Ghosts managed to climb two positions and finished at sixth. The greatest tumble was for Ea Sports UFC that fell from third position to seventh.
With a 53 percent boost in sales, Nintendo 3DS exclusive Tomodachi Life managed to finish at eleventh position this week up from sixteenth.
Gfk Chart-Track notes that it has been a rather slow week as for as new releases are concerned “but the overall market only drops 3% in units over last week thanks to a surge in the budget sector, climbing 15% in terms of units sold over last week”.
