Citroen has revealed pricing of its new C4 Cactus ranging from £12,990 to £18,190 with dealers taking orders for the car and deliveries beginning this October.
Cactus is recognisable by its look and especially the ‘Air Bump’ door protectors on the sides and bumpers which will be available in different colours. Cactus has the same wheelbase as the Citroen’s VW Golf and is 10cm shorter in size so it will be lighter in weight.
Cactus will offer many engine choices including petrol units of 74bhp, 81bhp, and 109bhp and diesel units of 91bhp and 99bhp. Citroën says that once the full line-up is available buyers will be able to opt for running costs 20 per cent better than rivals – official combined cycle economy figures in excess of 90mpg and CO2 emissions down to 82g/km.
Cactus has three trim levels at price from £12,990 to £18,190 which makes the car £4000 cheaper than Golf and £2000 less than its other C4 models. All the three levels dubbed Touch, Feel and Flair will include an infotainment system with DAB radio and cruise control.
Citroen has added some more equipments to the Feel models like gloss black exterior touches, gear shift paddles, a leather and chrome steering wheel, an aircraft-style handbrake lever, sofa-style front seats and Bluetooth.
The Flair model has the same equipments but on top of that it also includes Navigation and Hi-pack with sat-nav and audio system which is upgraded with six speakers with a juke box and digital amplifier.
Citroen has also included equipments like LED interior mood lightening, dark tinted rear windows, front fog lights with cornering function, heated door mirrors, automatic air conditioning, auto lights and wipers and a rear parking camera.
