EA is extending a goodwill to its online gaming community by offering the PC version of Respawn’s mechanical shooter Titanfall for free this weekend.
“We’re launching Origin Game Time for Titanfall across the world over the next several hours, so if you don’t see it available yet in your territory, you will soon,” EA notes on its Origin blog.
Uses who haven’t yet tried out the game can grab a copy of Titanfall through Origin and play it for free. EA is releasing this game under its new trial promotion dubbed Origin Game Time and Titanfall happens to be the first title of the promotion. EA has promised that more and more titles will be added to Game Time.
“Titanfall is only the beginning for Game Time and there’s more on the way. Each Game Time will be unique: different game, different time on the Game Time clock”, notes EA in a blog post.
Even though it is a trial promotion, EA has confirmed that users will be getting the full game and that their statistics will be saved as well. Once they decide to buy the game, their stats will automatically appear on their purchased game.
