Within a week after rumours and leaked images gave a first glimpse of the new Oppo N1 Mini, Oppo has announced the mini variant of its flagship Oppo N1 on its website.
Oppo N1 Mini will have a 5-inch display, a variant of the huge 5.9-inch screen of Oppo N1. Weighing roughly 150 grams, the phone sports a 720 pixel display toned down from the 1,080 pixel found on Oppo N1. It resembles Oppo N1 in most aspects with three capacitive navigation buttons at the bottom.
The new device is expected to be powered by an eight core MediaTek CPU with 1GB RAM. Oppo has retained the swiveling 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1/3.2” sensor which serves as both the rear and front camera offering an exceptional way for great selfies. The company has not revealed much about other specs, but it is expected to officially launch the device on June 10.
Oppo N1 Mini comes with 4G LTE connectivity which likely requires a powerful battery under the hood to offer enough power for the 4G related tasks and capabilities. Oppo N1 Mini runs Android based ColorOS.
The company has announced that the device will ship starting June 11 in China. Pricing details are expected alongside the specs list on June 10. However, there has been no word yet about the international release.
