Samsung has teased its Unpacked 5 event with a new image possibly hinting at its revamped TouchWiz UI.
Through a tweet, which actually doesn’t detail anything new apart from a new image, Samsung has teased the possible UI of its upcoming Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone including new colour theme and fonts.
The image also shows a couple of new features including Speed, Outdoor, Fun, Style, Social, Privacy and Fitness. Speed is possibly an indication of a new powerful processor; Outdoor points either to the possibility of a screen that allows for better viewing even in sunlight or longer battery life or both; Privacy seemingly points at preloaded Knox security suite; Fun, Style and Social point at new apps that Samsung might offer with the Galaxy S5; and Fitness hits at new health related apps from Samsung.
Just a few days back it was reported that Google isn’t too happy with Samsung Magazine UI and has even pressured the South Korean electronics giant to tone it down a little such that Google services are highlighted instead of Samsung apps.
Galaxy S5 is rumoured to have a 5.24-inch AMOLED screen with 2,560 x 1,440p resolution, two storage options 32GB and 64GB, two processor variants – Snapdragon 805 and Exynos 6, 16-megapixel camera on the rear and a 3.2-megapixel front one, and a 3200mAh battery.
