A video allegedly of Apple’s next iPhone – iPhone 6 – has showed up on YouTube with the creator claiming that the video has been shot at an Apple factory.
The video shows off a unibody-constructed smartphone shell, which is claimed to be of iPhone 6. The shell is of a larger form factor and seems to be made from Liquidmetal. Further, the shell seems to be taller and in line with latest reports of a larger screened iPhone 6.
Apple has rights to use this material, but hasn’t made elaborate use of it so far except for small applications including SIM card ejector tool that ships with all iPhones.
The finishing of the shell isn’t that great and is of rather poor quality, which forces us to conclude that it is a shell of some knock-off Chinese smartphone. This could be because the video has been shot with a camera of not that great a quality; however we will treat this leak with a grain of salt as with all Apple rumours.
