LG’s curved display smartphone G Flex has hit pre-order status in the UK and the SIM-free version costs a whopping £690.
The SIM-free variant of G Flex is available from Expansys, but those who not willing to shell out £690 at one go can opt for monthly contracts available from Carphone Warehouse.
Customers can choose from over 30 different tariffs, but all of them carry an upfront cost meaning that users will not be getting the handset for free even if they shell out as much as £74.99 per month on a 24 month contract.
The LG G Flex packs a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, 6-inch screen with 720p resolution, 13-megapixel camera and a 3,500mAh battery. The device runs Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and also comes with self-healing coating on the rear of the phone that LG claims will automatically repair scratches.
