Less than a day after we showed you the leaked engineering prototype of Nokia Normandy, we have a couple of more leaks that shows the user interface (UI) of the alleged Android smartphone from Nokia.
Android’s interface on Normandy, as rumoured earlier, has been tweaked to match that of Windows Phone’s tile appearance. Further, another leak from inside the walled country shows us the app launched which is more like rows of icons laid down from top to bottom of the screen.
The latest leak from @evleaks also shows the possible colours of Normandy and indicates that Nokia has taken a cue from its Lumia range of smartphones. The text in the tweet reads: “Nokia Normandies, 2014” giving us a possible launch date for the smartphone.
The picture also shows just the one capacitive button on the bottom hinting at no physical buttons. The latest leak also confirms that Normandy will be a dual-SIM smartphone.
The latest leak keeps the option of Android powered Nokia Normandy still on the cards despite the fact that Microsoft is set to acquire company’s mobile division.
