Reports from South Korean media indicate that Samsung is indeed all set to launch its Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 Lite and possibly three other handsets as early as first quarter of 2014.
According to a report on ET News, the South Korean electronics giant is prepping for a February launch of Galaxy Note 3 Lite indicating that Samsung could launch the phablet officially during the MWC 2014 trade fair. Galaxy Note 3 Lite is expected to be a cheaper variant of the Galaxy Note 3.
Further the report also claims that Samsung next flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 could see a launch as early as March 2014. The S5 is expected to be a metal encased smartphone unlike its predecessor S4 and could very well leave the iPhone 5S behind in terms of specifications with its octa-core 64-bit processor, 3GB RAM and a 16-megapixel camera.
Samsung is also expected to unveil a range of other Galaxy devices with budget-friendly price tags. Galaxy Grand 2 could be unveiled globally, pre-orders for which have already started in India.
We could also see upgrades to the Galaxy Tab range, but there have been very few leaks on this front.
