HP has listed three new NVidia Tegra powered Android tablets on its website ranging from $149.99 to $329.99.
HP has started selling the tablets without much fuss or marketing or pre-launch hype, at least until now. The first tablet is the $149.99 HP Slate 7 Plus with a 7-inch screen and Android 4.2.2. The tablet is definitely an entry level one with NVidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 4,000mAh battery. The tablet is silver coloured.
Add $50 to that and you will be able to buy the HP Slate 7 Extreme in Slate silver for $199.99 which is powered by NVidia Tegra 4 and comes with 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, Android 4.2.2 and a 4,100mAh battery.
Finally the top end model is the HP Slate 8 Pro featuring an 8-inch screen with 1,600 x 1,200 resolution, Tegra 4 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.2, 5,680mAh battery. The HP Slate 8 Pro will set you back by $329.99.
