Google’s efforts to keep its upcoming Nexus 5 a mystery all went in vain as the smartphone popped up on its Play Store for a brief amount of time.
Yes that’s right; Google’s new upcoming smart phone in the picture has been listed as “starting at $349”. According to Google Play, the price listed alongside the picture is for the 16GB entry level model.
Though we can clearly spot the picture, nothing happened when clicked on the phone report websites who first spotted this. The store link appearing does not take us anywhere. It’s just that users can have a look at the brand new handset but cannot buy or order for it yet.
According to rumours and leaked LG service manual, the Nexus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 3G RAM, 16GB and 32GB storage options, Android 4.4 KitKat.
Earlier it was believed, thanks to all the clues, that Google will launch the handset on October 18. But this didn’t happen and now new clues have pegged Nexus 5 for a October 28 launch. Google is also expected to announce its own smartwatch allegedly named Gem.
