Rockstar has confirmed that it won’t be able to restore users’ lost characters and game progress in GTA Online after announcing a $500,000 stimulus package.
The GTA Online marker cleared its stand on the lost characters and game progress and announced that the $500,000 GTA$ stimulus package should take care of users’ troubles and would help them get back on their feet once again. Earlier it had announced that the recently release title update will fix the character loss and progress loss issues.
“For those asking about their lost characters or rank, those will not be able to be restored so we sincerely hope that this cash stimulus we’re giving out this month will help you get back on your feet or to make your new life in Los Santos & Blaine extra sweet”, noted Rockstar.
However, the company did note that all those users who have reported vehicle losses shouldn’t worry as it will be rolling out an update next week that will take care of that. Rockstar also announced that through the new title update it will be fine-tuning the game to ensure that the game runs smoothly. The update will also bring with it the stimulus package, which will be offered in two $250,000 chunks.
GTA V maker has also confirmed that it will be adding in new content such as Heists soon as it was under development and a release announcement will be made soon. GTA Online has been marred with issues right from day one following its launch on October 1, but the company has released updates to iron out almost all the issues apart from the lost characters, progress and vehicles issue.
