Nexus 5 this and Nexus 5 that – this is what has been going on since about two weeks now and the latest video gives Google’s next flagship device a whole 7-mins of HD introduction.
The new video details the Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 KitKat, but in a rather not-so-professional manner as whoever has shot video seems to be doing it for the first time and hasn’t managed to give out enough information to satisfy the information appetite of gadget freaks.
Nexus 5 in the video has a back similar to that of the latest Nexus 7 with a matte like finish which is almost rubberized plastic. On the rear is a big lens that more or less matches the other leaks we have seen so far. The video also shows the power button and SIM tray on the right, headphone jack on the top, volume rocket on the left and stereo speakers along with micro-USB plug on the bottom.
The smartphone is definitely running Android 4.4 KitKat, but it seems to be an older build as some of the latest features we have heard about like the new app try icon or the camera button on lockscreen like you would find on an iPhone are missing. The person has spent most of the time in showing off Google apps instead of digging deeper into the system level options.
Earlier Nexus 5 cases appeared on Google+ through a South Korean cases manufacturer.
