It seems like Nokia needs to double check its security as leaks from the tech giant are coming more often than before. Just last week new press renders of Lumia 1520 surfaced on the web and now a new image has been made available which provides strong credence to the possibility of a Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet and its full HD 1080p display.
The leaked photo reveals only a section of the Lumia 2520 tablet, but from the image it is clear that Nokia’s upcoming Windows RT tablet will come with a kickstand similar to one provided by Microsoft in its Surface lineup. The device looks somewhat different than the leaks we have come across earlier. The picture shows a typical Nokia’s SIM card tray same as like other Lumias, a volume rocker with a kickstand in-between.
Previously we came across FCC approvals for a Nokia tablet. From the filings it was evident that the Lumia 2520 supports 4G LTE connectivity alongside full support for HSPA+ and GSM / EDGE.
It is believed that the Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet aka Sirius will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will feature a 10.1-inch display capable of full HD 1080p display. Nokia is expected to price its first tablet at $499, but considering the recent price cuts announced by Microsoft for its Surface RT, the $499 price tag may be well over the ‘costly’ line.
Nokia World Event is scheduled on October 22 in Abu Dhabi and the Finnish company is reportedly planning to launch as many as six devices alongside Lumia 2520.
