finally time that Apple’s latest iPhone iteration- iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus- has been made available for sale in another batch of 22 countries.
Apple’s iPhone 6 September 19 debut covered 10 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the U.K.
The second wave of rollout will see the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey. The UAE will get iPhone 6 availability on September 27, Saturday.
Apple has already sold already over 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 units during its opening weekend, 4 million of which were sold in the first 24 hours of availability which is more than double the 2 million orders received for the iPhone 5 model in the same period two years ago.
The Cupertino aims to get its new iPhone available in around 115 countries by the end of the year, including the important China market. However no firm date has yet been set for its rollout in China and India.
