Though not much was being discussed about the alleged Nexus 9 tablet hitting the market, reports about its existence have brought the device back into prominence after rumours started surfacing about it recently.
According to Android Authority Nexus 9 will make its debut on October 8 in a HTC event at New York, but it may not be so as other reports hint at possibilities of a new Smartphone and a GoPro-style action camera.
Sources say that the tablet is more likely to be scheduled for unveiling sometime either on 15th or 16th of October, but still may not be the date for release which is expected on November 1. But sources say that this again is likely to change.
More confusing is the date on which existing Nexus tablets will get the Android L update. If we are to go by rumours alone we are almost 3 weeks away to get Nexus 9 with the Android L.
One thing is however clear that HTC is making the tablet for Google and that it has been providing support for the Taiwan-based Smartphone maker.
It is widely believed that the Nexus 9 tablet will sport a 2K display and will be bundled with NVIDIA’s 64-bit Tegra K1 processor codenamed Denver.
