Apple has sent out invitations for its much-anticipated big event scheduled at 10 a.m PT on September 9 without any hints on what waits to be revealed.
The event will be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino where the original Mac was unveiled by former CEO Steve Jobs 30 years ago.
It is expected to be the launch event of the long rumoured iPhone 6, however, the tagline in the invite “Wish we could say more” tempts analysts to think there’s more to it than just iPhone 6. Perhaps, it could be the oft-rumoured iWatch alongside the next generation device, according to several analysts.
There were also rumours in the recent past saying that the company is prepping a bigger version of tablets and they might be unveiled during the event.
Apple has likely sent out invites a bit earlier this time, probably because of the larger audience it expects for the events.
The venue could seat as many as 2,400 individuals and Apple has used the venue for some of its significant events in the past. There is also a three-storied white structure being constructed at the venue, which could be the hands-on area where the developers and media personnel are allowed to get a hands-on experience of the devices. However, previously the hands-on areas have been sizably smaller than the structure currently being built.
It is widely rumoured that the iPhone 6 will come with different screen sizes: a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch model. Other devices expected from Apple include the wrist worn device dubbed by the market as iWatch and a larger iPad.
