Apple is reportedly looking to position the next generation iPad Air as high performance device for multitasking as it is doubling the RAM size to 2GB, claims a new report.
According to a report from the republic of China, Apple is planning a strategic increase in the random access memory size of iPad Air 2 so that users get a faster and smoother experience operating the device.
Besides the rumours of the flagship smartphone iPhone 6, the focus seems to also drift to the upcoming iPad version. A recent report from the Asian site Technews.tv states that increasing the RAM size will have several benefits for users, such as faster processing speeds while handling multiple tasks and faster completion of memory-intensive tasks.
However, this increase in memory capacity is not expected to influence the device’s speed much, considering Apple devices already have excellent speeds of operation.
The next generation iPad Air is rumoured to sport the same design but a powerful A8 processor and also feature the iPhone 5S exclusive TouchID Fingerprint sensor introduced last year.
If rumours are to be believed, the 9.7-inch iPad Air 2 tablet will outdo all the previous Apple products with its super fast speed and excellent user experience.
