Microsoft Lumia 730 is turning out to be a ‘one to look out for’ Windows Phone 8.1 devices and latest rumours indicate that the smartphone will support 4G LTE, Qi Wireless charging, external storage among other things.
Teased by Microsoft earlier this month, Lumia 730 codenamed Superman will probably see light of the day on September 4 at IFA 2014. The smartphone is dubbed as a pro-selfie smartphone and thanks to Microsoft’s teaser of “join us for more face time”, this has more or less been confirmed.
According to a report on Nokia Power User, China’s FCC equivalent has already cleared a certain RM-1038 believed to be the Lumia 730. According to certification details, the handset will support 4G LTE connectivity; Nano SIM, Qi Wireless charging, and microSD card for storage expansion.
An image has also been posted by the site that shows off the alleged camera with Carl Zeiss branding and battery. The image also confirms the size of the circuit board.
According to previous leaks, the Lumia 730 is expected to feature a 4.7-inch HD display, dual-SIM support, a 2000mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with Adreno 305 GPU, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 6.7-megapixel rear camera.
