Google has released 11 new apps for Glass including Runtastic, The Guardian, Duolingo, GuidiGO among others on Tuesday.
“You probably didn’t expect us back with another update so soon, but we’ve got a few new Glassware coming your way. Well, 12 to be exact”, announced Google in a Google+ post.
The new set is a varied mix containing apps for fitness conscious explorers as well as those who are looking for entertainment on the run as well as those who don’t mind honing their language skills a little.
Runtastic and Zombies, Run! are fitness related apps; while Goal.com will help users stay up to date with World Cup and other soccer events.
Shazam, musiXmatch and Livestream apps are for music lovers. Livestream allows users to broadcast live video while musiXmatch recognizes music and shows users song lyrics.
GuidiGO is like your personal tour guide giving you the option of choosing from 27 destinations and over 250 guided tours from cities like Montmartre, Istanbul, and San Francisco; while Starchart will let you map the night’s stars, planets, and constellations.
The twelfth app is AllTheCooks app that basically isn’t a new entrant, but received an overhaul.
Google Glass Explorer programme was expanded for the first time since its launch and UK is the country where Google anchored to show off its Glassware and made it available to those in the UK for £1,000.
