EA and Microsoft are not having a blast with Titanfall beta release as a bug is preventing more servers to be added thereby preventing quite a few beta users from connecting with the game.
“Some of our Beta servers are currently offline and our team is working with Microsoft to resolve,” confirmed one of the game’s community managers on the game’s official support forum.
Microsoft Xbox Live’s operations manager took to Twitter to clarify that the issue didn’t have anything to do with overloaded servers or servers crashing, but it was because of a bug that the company was already aware of and working on.
Jon Shiring of Respawn Entertainment also confirmed the existence of a bug and tweeted, “Titanfall Beta is unable to allocate more servers right now. This is a bug, not a limit. Microsoft is aware and working on it.”
Both EA and Microsoft are working to address the bug and according to an update on the official support forum, developers are working to resolve the issue and the connectivity will be restored ASAP.
A lot of hype surrounded the launch of Titanfall and many would be tempted to put forward their views that the game might not deliver as expected from it; however, the game is still in beta and as it is an online game without any option of offline gaming, connectivity issues and related bugs are the most likely issues that users will end up facing.
