Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2 may have managed to scale the UK top 10 charts, but it’s valiant efforts were not enough to dethrone FIFA 15, which has now been at the top spot for fifth week.
EA managed to hold off its top spot on the UK all formats chart despite a 7 per cent decline in sales week over week. One thing that stands out though is neither the sales of Bayonetta 2 or FIFA 15 – it is the sales figure of ‘Minecraft: Playstation Edition’, which managed to jump a whopping 82 per cent because of strong sales of the PS4 version helping the title reach to no. 2 spot.
Elsewhere, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is placed at number six despite a 62 per cent decline in sales week over week. However, the title is doing better than Alien Isolation, which has only been around for three weeks and is already down to number nine.
There were titles that even failed to make to the top 40 including first-person shooter Shadow Warrior and the Xbox-exclusive Fantasia: Music Evolved.
