Lenovo Yoga 10 HD+ announced

Lenovo has announced a refreshed version of its Yoga 10 tablet and has named it Yoga 10 HD+.

The improved tablet is now equipped with a full HD 1,920 x 1,080p display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM, up to 32GB storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.6-megapixel camera on the front.

Powered by 9000 mAh battery that promises over 18 hours of life, the Yoga 10 HD+ will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box; however, Lenovo has promised an Android 4.4 KitKat update soon enough in the form of an over-the-air update. Lenovo may be promising over 18 hours of battery life, but a juiced up display will certain be a little more tasking on the battery and may reduce the life by an hour or two.

Priced at $349, Yoga 10 HD+ doesn’t look different, but retains its svelte design with a built-in stand. The increased size of the display will of course mean you get a little less life out of the same battery.

Some of the other features of the improved Yoga 10 HD+ are Wi-Fi, 3G (except US), Bluetooth 4.0, and microSD card slot. The tablet also comes with three Lenovo DOit apps including SHAREit, SECUREit, and SYNCit allowing for easier sharing, protection and synching of data on the YOGA Tablet 10 HD+.
