Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release eminent? Surface Pro 3 prices cut by $150 in US

By  |

There have been quite a few unverified reports that Microsoft is planning to release its Surface Pro 4 along with or soon after the public release of Windows 10, and now new price cuts on few Surface Pro 3 models further strengthen the belief that a new slate from Microsoft might be on its way.

The latest price cut could be seen as a bait for customers luring them to buy the Surface Pro 3 or a move to ensure that Microsoft and its retail partners don’t end up with huge Surface Pro 3 stocks when the company releases Surface Pro 4.

Microsoft hasn’t included the Surface Pro 3 model with Intel Core i3 processor in the price cut, but if you looking to buy either an i5 or an i7 model, you are in for some good news.

The 256GB Intel i7 variant with 8 GB of RAM now costs $1,399 (was $1,549), while 512GB model with i7 and 8GB RAM is now available for $1,799 (was $1,949).

According to Microsoft, the offer is going to last for next 10 days until June 27 and customers purchasing directly from Microsoft Store or through Best Buy in the US can avail the offer.
