Ubisoft has officially revealed that Far Cry 4 Gold version has been signed off confirming that the development and testing of the game is complete and the game is ready for mass production to cater to the November 18 release date for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
“Clear your calendar. Call a few of your best buds. And steel yourself to survive in the audaciously beautiful country of Kyrat”, wrote senior communications manager Gary Steinman in a blog post.
“Far Cry 4 has officially gone gold”.
Far Cry 4’s story revolves around Ajay Ghale, a Kyrat native raised in US, who returns to the Himalayan country to find himself embroiled in a bloody civil war. “With Kyrat, Far Cry 4 is set to deliver the franchise’s most ambitious world yet – a diverse region with a wide array of ecosystems and a richly realized cast of characters”, notes Steinman.
Ubisoft is currently offering pre-orders for all version of Far Cry 4 on its site. The Limited Edition is priced at £49.99, Gold Edition is priced at £64.99, Kyrat Edition is priced £74.99 and the Ultimate Kyrat Edition is priced at £84.99.
So what are the differences in these different editions. To give you an overview, the Limited Edition will pack the full game and Hurk’s Redemption (3 single player mission), while the Gold Edition will include Far Cry 4 sesason Pass top of the full game and Hurk’s Redemption.
Kyrat Edition will get you Pagan Min 20cm figurine, a travel journal, Pagan Min Propaganda Poster, Game Map and Exclusive Collector Box on top of what you get in Gold Edition. Finally in the Ultimate Kyrat Edition you get all the goodies of Kyrat Edition plus an exclusive Future Pack Metal Box.
