Luxury iPhone vendor Feld & Volk has shared a couple of images on the Instagram account purportedly showcasing the front and rear casing of Apple’s upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed iPhone 6.
The image, supposedly of the 4.7 inch model, shows rounded edges of the phone similar to the original iPhone with a metal frame and a metal back casing.
The front panel has a touch of gloss to it and tapers towards the edges seamlessly joining the casing without anything interrupting the curvy design. Previous rumours suggested that the phones will sport a sapphire crystal display.
Apple’s suppliers are said to have started the manufacturing processes for the upcoming phones and they are expected to be released in the second week of September, tentatively on September 9.
Some experts believe that the iPhone 6 would pack a faster A8 processor and come with wireless charging support, while the camera will also be improvised with changeable lenses. Rumours have it have the flagship device will feature a heartrate sensor as seen on Samsung Galaxy S5.
Another picture leaked by tipster Sonny Dickson shows the Lighting cable reportedly of iPhone 6. According to the speculations in the market, the cable will be reversible at both ends making it possible to insert them into the ports in any way. The floating centre has pins on both sides making it reversible at both ends.
It is also said that the cable will be made using USB 3.0 technology that can support audio eliminating the need for a separate headphone jack as upgrading the earphone will help users connect to the phone using the charging port.
